Why does the App need my location?
Location is used to calculate the direction from where you are to the Ka’bah. This happens on your device only — nothing is sent to our servers.
Is the camera required?
No. Camera is optional and only provides a visual preview. Haptics, audio, VoiceOver, and the compass work with location permission alone.
Does the App work offline?
Yes. Once location is available, the App calculates Qibla direction without an internet connection.
Why doesn’t the compass work in the Simulator?
The iOS Simulator does not provide a real magnetometer or camera. For the best experience, use a physical iPhone.
How do I enable VoiceOver guidance?
Turn on VoiceOver in Settings → Accessibility → VoiceOver. The App announces direction and alignment progress automatically.
